What, Me Worry Pale Ale
This beer is basically the same beer as the Jackknife Pale Ale, with one difference. We've swapped out the Citra hops for Cascade hops. Otherwise, it is just as hoppy and delicious as the Jackknife.

Goldie Locks Kolsch Ale

Rajah IPA
Rajah India Pale Ale is typical British IPA. It is high in alcohol and well hopped, but not as hoppy as an American IPA. Meant to ward off bad spirits that might be encountered on long ocean voyages. Enjoy the tannins, slight vanilla flavors and oakiness imparted by the oak chips. $49.95

Bascom Brown Ale
The Bascom Brown Ale is a beer with a nice balance of hoppiness and maltiness with plenty of mouthfeel. A slight roasted character gives this beer an enticing complexity. Local legend tells that the statue of Abe Lincoln that sits on top of Bascom hill here on the UW campus will stand up if someone who didn’t enjoy this kit ever walks in front of him. 10-Forward Brown Ale

Badger Dark Ale
The Badger Dark is an interesting beer. It's dark and has a nice roasted character but is not thick or high in alcohol like stouts can be, so it goes down easy and delicious. $30.95

Grey Moon Porter
The lighter of our two porters, the Grey Moon has a nice roasted, almost burnt malt aroma and is balanced with enough hops as to not be cloyingly sweet. An easy drinking porter that should be at it's peak after just a few weeks in the bottle or keg. $37.95

Hammerhead Porter
The Hammerhead is our big bodied porter. Chock full of malty goodness, but with enough hops to balance the strong malt backbone, the Hammerhead will keep you warm on a cold winter's night. This beer will be great early on, but will definitely benefit from a little aging. $50.95

Sequoia Stout
A dry, black stout with roasted flavors. Not quite as bitter as Guinness, but just as tasty. This is a good stout to use as a base if you're going to add other flavorings, such as cherries or bourbon. Mmm... $38.95

Elsie's Cream Stout
Elsie's Cream Stout has a creamy, tan head with a pleasant, sweet, roasted malt flavor. Some detect hints of coffee, the result of the roasted grains in the beer. It is just off-dry with a hint of maltiness. Lactose gives this beer an enticing but not overbearing sweetness. $39.95

Otleechna Russian Imperial Stout
Dark as St. Petersburg in winter and strong enough to make you slip into peaceful hibernation. With a hint of black licorice buried in its complex, roasted malt character and citrus hop aroma, no matter how many bottles you brew, you'll wish that you had more. German Ales and Wheat Beers

Description

Gestalt Alt
Our alt recipe produces a prelager style of German ale. It is a complex and malty beer, with a dense, rocky head during fermentation. High flocculation. Depending on the fermentation temperature, you'll get quite different beers. So try making one in the winter and then one in the summer and compare and contrast! $40.95

Smokey Bear Dark Alt
This beer is loosely based on a Dusseldorf style alt bier. Smokey Bear has a nice malty finish coupled with little hop bitterness and a mild-to-medium roasted flavor. You can enjoy this dark German ale after a couple weeks in the bottle, but it will improve with 2 or 3 months of aging. $40.95

Winsome Wheat

Belgian Dubbel
This Belgian Dubble is dark amber in color, with a faint hop aroma and a malty nose. Belgian yeast and caramel grains contribute to its unique aroma and slightly nutty/biscuit taste. Dark candy sugar adds a nice warming alcohol effect that mellows with 2 to 3 months age. $47.95
